I qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 1994 and spent the first few years of my career working for an accountancy firm in Cheltenham where I provided accountancy and audit services to small and medium sized companies.
Two years working for Coopers & Lybrand (now PWC) in London followed, and then I took on a role managing financial reporting services for the charity Macmillan Cancer Support, at its London HQ.
I spent 11 years at Macmillan working in a variety of financial and strategic roles, and in that time also married, moved to Dorset and had two children.
In 2009 I moved back to working in accountancy practice in North Dorset and I set up as a sole practitioner in November 2013.
I work from home in Bourton, in North Dorset, providing accountancy and tax services to a range of small business and individuals. When not working I enjoy cooking, and gardening and being involved with our local primary school where I am a parent governor.
